WATER TECHNOLOGY

Energy Pathway Program is expanding into the wastewater treatment, water treatment, and water distribution. There is a rise in water jobs in California in the next few years and EPP is partnering with Los Angeles Harbor College to provide training for these upcoming opportunities. The training curriculum is similar to process technology but articulated to the water industry and taught by staff working in the industry. The program will provide college certificates and test preparation for the state examination.

Trainings are free for those who qualify (please see attached flyer). Currently, EPP and LAHC are piloting a short training program and recruitment begins April 2011 for classes beginning on May 31, 2011-August 01, 2011. If you are interested in become an operator in the water and wastewater industry, please apply online to see if you are eligible.

  • Water Distribution
  • Wastewater
  • Test Preparation
