WIND TURBINE TECHNOLOGY

Energy Pathways Program (EPP) is expanding into new high growth sectors in renewable energy. Wind energy is a growing field and wind energy companies across the nation are in need of wind turbine technicians. EPP is recruiting recently separated veterans and veterans into a training program provided by Airstreams Renewables, Inc. located Tehachapi, California. Workforce Investment Act funds and grants are available through EPP for veterans and recently separated veterans if they can provide a Los Angeles County address (Relocation and living costs in Tehachapi must covered by the participant).

Airstreams Renewables, Inc. (ARI) accelerated career training programs are designed to transfer the knowledge we have gained from over 200 years of combined experience in the wind and renewable energy industry to our students through safety-focused, skill-based and hands-on instruction. This accelerated training program format saves students and companies� time, enables quicker knowledge transfer and ultimately leads to faster job placement or promotion for our graduates.

Whether you are a renewable energy/wind industry veteran or simply considering a new career, we ask that you consider Airstreams for all your safety and technical career training needs.

Salary/Pay Ranges (Wind Turbine Technician - Entry Level)

  • Level 1 / Entry Level Technician: $15 to $20 per hour (0 to 2 years experience)
  • Level 2 / Mid Level Technician: $18 to $23 per hour (2 to 4 years experience)
  • Level 3 / High Level Technician: $20 to $28 per hour (4 + years of experience)

These are general estimates as wages can vary between companies and job titles. For example: traveling technicians tend to make a little more than non traveling technicians. A person with relevant experience from another industry could, in some cases, come in at the mid or high level pay range as well.
